Tim Johnson

Founder and President

The founder and president of the TJC Group, Tim is the leading national consultant for the creation, management, facilitation, and revitalization of industry-based Community Advisory Panels (CAPs). He currently serves in a consulting role as the Senior Director of Governmental Relations for NCCER and has over 25 years experience in association management.

Dr. Audrey Kennedy

Project Manager

Audrey has over 35 years experience in the public sector, including 10 years experience in association management. Currently, Audrey serves as the program manager for the National Maritime Education Council (NMEC), a national trade association under the management of the TJC Group that she was instrumental in establishing in 2012.

Lana Venable

Project Manager

A graduate of Louisiana State University, Lana is a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, decisive leader and diplomatic problem-solver with 25 years’ experience in public affairs. She has a proven track record of cultivating effective relationships with elected officials, community leaders, policy makers and other key influencers to achieve advocacy goals.

Stephanie Boswell

Project Manager

Stephanie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, stakeholder relations, branding and training. She is a veteran broadcast journalist with strong and creative writing skills.

Nancy Campanella

Project Manager

With 30+ years of legislative and governmental affairs experience and 25 years of community advisory panel experience, Nancy Campanella is an integral part of The TJC Group.   Nancy’s governmental research and legislative experience assist TJC Group clients with issues management. 

Grayson Touchard

Mgr., Marketing/Social Media

Grayson Touchard is Manager of Marketing and Social Media for the TJC Group. She is a recent graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Communications and has extensive experience in community outreach and marketing with organizations like the New Orleans Jesters, New Orleans Pelicans and LSU.

Desiree LeMoine

Director, Governmental Affairs

Desiree Lemoine rejoined The TJC Group in late 2020 as Director of Governmental Affairs, with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sector.  Desiree is a LSU graduate with extensive knowledge in strategic communications, issues management and public relations.  Desiree has successfully lobbied for both public and private interests, and is well known for her honesty and straightforward communications skills.

Dr. Al Barron

Project Manager

Dr. Al Barron is the former Director of Career Services at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and has spent more than twenty-five (25) years educating, advising and helping thousands of students develop interpersonal skills as they move from university life into the world of business.

Tara Wicker

Project Manager

Tara Wicker served for twelve (12) years as a Baton Rouge City Councilwoman, serving a diverse district that included the Louisiana State Capitol, all of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University, and Southern University. Tara has a Master's Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Policy Analysis. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.

Robert Kidder

Project Manager

A veteran of the advertising agency business, Robert spent 28 years balancing the creative side with research, media planning and account service, serving as executive creative director on a mixed bag of financial, retail, tourism, manufacturing and political clients, and account supervisor on many of the important ones.

Nick Johnson

Project Manager

The newest member of the TJC Group team, Nick Johnson brings energy and new perspective to the firm.  Nick is involved with all TJC Group clients and projects and will be specifically responsible for marketing, social media, and CAP management.
